The Project Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing and managing project-based sales opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and ensuring successful execution of automation projects across Vietnam. This role combines technical expertise with business development skills to drive growth in industrial automation solutions.
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities in industrial automation and process control sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, consultants, EPC contractors, and end-users.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Negotiate tender and contract terms to meet both client and company objectives.
Project Coordination
- Review bidding documents (RFQ, ITB) and coordinate with internal teams for technical and commercial proposals.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design tailored solutions for projects.
- Ensure smooth execution of awarded projects, minimizing risks and cost impacts.
Market & Product Knowledge
- Conduct market research on competitors, trends, and new technologies.
- Stay updated on automation products and solutions to provide the best recommendations to clients.
Reporting & Planning
- Develop and implement monthly/quarterly/yearly sales plans.
- Provide timely reports and updates to management.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Mechanical, or related Engineering fields.
Experience: 2–5 years in project sales or technical sales, preferably in industrial automation or process industries.
Technical Skills
– Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, instrumentation, and automation systems.
– Ability to read technical drawings and understand control systems.
Soft Skills
– Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
– Customer-oriented mindset with ability to work independently and in teams.
Other Requirements:
– Proficiency in Vietnamese and good command of English.
– Willingness to travel nationwide.
