The Services Engineer will be responsible for promoting automation solutions and services, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction through pre-sales, after-sales, and maintenance activities. This role bridges technical expertise and customer engagement, contributing to ATZ Solutions’ growth in Vietnam market.
1. Core Responsibilities – Field Service & Technical Support
- Perform installation, commissioning, startup, and handover of industrial automation and control systems at customer sites (PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, Inverters, Field Instruments, etc.).
- Troubleshoot, diagnose faults, perform corrective/preventive maintenance and repair equipment on-site.
- Execute warranty services and annual maintenance contracts (AMC/SMC).
- Provide basic operation training and handover documentation to end-users.
- Prepare service reports, propose system upgrades or spare parts when necessary.
- Provide remote technical support (phone, email, TeamViewer) and to answer customer support according to work schedule.
2. Pre-sales & Application Support
- Join the Sales team for site surveys to assess existing systems and collect technical requirements from customers.
- Provide preliminary technical consultation and recommend suitable equipment/configuration solutions.
- Assist in technical presentations, product demonstrations, or proof-of-concept (PoC) activities when required (no cold-calling or lead generation required).
- Collaborate with Application/Project Engineers to develop optimal technical solutions before quotation submission.
3. Customer Care & Professional Development
- Maintain good long-term relationships with existing customers and collect feedback to improve service quality.
- Continuously update knowledge of new products, automation technologies, and the company’s principal brands.
- Participate in trade shows, seminars, or technical workshops when assigned.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Mechanical, or related Engineering fields.
- Experience:
- 2–5 years in Sales Engineer / Service Engineer roles, preferably in industrial automation or process control.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, instrumentation, and automation systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand control systems.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-oriented mindset with ability to work independently and in teams.
- Other Requirements:
- Good English communication and reading of technical documents.
- Willingness to travel within Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Dong Nai/Dung Quat-Quang Ngai and nearby provinces.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus.
