The Technical Engineer is responsible for supporting and executing technical activities related to industrial automation, electrical and electronic systems, electro-mechanical equipment, technical services, maintenance, project implementation, and technical sales support. This position acts as a bridge between Customers, Sales Teams, Suppliers, and Project Teams to ensure effective delivery of technical solutions and services while meeting quality, schedule, and customer satisfaction requirements.

Technical Service & Field Support

• Perform installation, wiring, commissioning, testing, handover, and startup activities at customer sites
• Carry out preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
• Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers
• Execute warranty services and maintenance
• Conduct basic operation and technical training for customers
• Prepare service reports, maintenance reports, and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and company standards

Project Support & Implementation

• Conduct site surveys and collect technical information from customers
• Support preparation of technical documents, drawings, and project-related documentation
• Participate in project execution according to assigned schedules
• Monitor and resolve technical issues during project implementation
• Assist with project testing, commissioning, and final acceptance
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution

Automation, Electrical & Instrumentation Support

• Support implementation of (PLC/ HMI/ SCADA/ DCS/ Industrial Network/ Instrumentation)
• Perform basic configuration, testing, and commissioning of automation equipment
• Read and interpret electrical, control, and electro-mechanical drawings
• Support system integration and operational activities of industrial control systems

Electro-Mechanical & Equipment Support 

• Support assembly, alignment, and inspection of electro-mechanical equipment
• Conduct equipment condition assessments and improvement recommendations
• Assist in resolving mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues
• Support equipment maintenance, upgrading, and retrofit projects

Technical Sales Support 

• Support Sales Team in customer visits and site surveys
• Analyze technical requirements and recommend suitable solutions
• Assist in equipment selection, system configuration, and technical proposal preparation
• Support quotation, tender, and bidding document preparation
• Participate in technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and customer meetings
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers regarding technical matters

Documentation & Continuous Improvement 

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operation manuals, and service reports
• Maintain project records and technical databases
• Propose improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality
• Continuously update knowledge of emerging technologies, products, and market trends

• Bachelor’s Degree or College Degree (Automation Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial Engineering/ Related Technical Disciplines

• Minimum 2 years of experience in automation & instrumentation, industrial engineering, or technical service, with project support experience

• Experience in manufacturing plants, industrial sites, or solution-provider companies is preferred

• Knowledge of Automation, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation and Electro-Mechanical Systems

• Good knowledge and experience of electrical (power supply, motors, cabinets, etc.) and automation engineering (instruments, PLC, DCS, communications, etc.)

• Ability to read technical drawings and engineering documentation

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Good command of Microsoft Office, Project and technical software applications such as AutoCAD Electrical, 2D and/or 3D, Revit, and/or SolidWorks

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Effective communication and teamwork skills
